Frist Hilgen is a field geologist. He is one of the most famous world expert in the various disciplines of stratigraphy. He aims to reconstruct Earth System history in increasing detail. He do this in particular through constructing high-resolution astronomical-tuned time scales with their unprecedented accuracy, precision and resolution.
