AstroGeoFit
AstroGeoFit uses Genetic Algorithm and Bayesian approaches to derive an astronomical calibration of a sedimentary record
AstroGeoFit derives both the time-depth transfert function t(D) and the astronomical signal from the stratigraphic data using Genetic Algorithm and Bayesian Statistical Methods. The derivation of the transfert function t(D) is intrinsic to the stratigraphic data and does not depend on a specific astronomical solution. Only statistical estimates are provided as a-priori knowledge of the astronomical parameters.
