Slah Boulila

Slah Boulila is a world known field geologist, expert in cyclostratigraphy. He acquires and use high-resolution geophysical and geochemical data from the sedimentary records (from outcrops, drilling programs and subsurface data) to address three multidisciplinary, interrelated topics: (1) astronomical calibration of the Cenozoic and Mesozoic time scales, (2) the role of orbitally driven climate and sea-level changes in the hierarchy of sedimentary sequences, and (3) the potential of highly resolved sedimentary records to provide constraints on the astronomical modeling.
