Margriet Lantink is a field geologist. She did her PhD with Frits Hilgen, at Utrecht University on the cyclostratigraphic analysis of the banded iron formations. Just before defending her PhD, she spend a few months in the AstroGeo group at Paris IMCCE/Observatory. She is now a CycloAstro postdoc at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
